For a Tailored Suit (Men)

1. Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest with arms relaxed.
2. Shoulder Width
From the edge of one shoulder to the other across your back.
3. Neck
Around the base of your neck where a collar sits.
4. Sleeve Length
From shoulder seam down to the wrist bone.
5. Jacket Length
From the top of the shoulder down to mid-thumb area.
6. Waist
Around your natural waist (usually near belly button).
7. Hip / Seat
Around the fullest part of your hips and butt.
8. Inseam
From the crotch down to the bottom of the ankle.
9. Outseam
From waist down the outside of the leg to the shoe.
10. Thigh
Around the widest part of the upper leg.
11. Wrist
Around the wrist for shirt cuff size.

For a Tailored Dress (Women)
1. Bust
Around the fullest part of the chest.
2. Underbust
Around rib cage directly under the bust.
3. Waist
Natural waistline (smallest part of torso).
4. Hips
Around the fullest part of hips.
5. Shoulder Width
6. Armhole / Arm Circumference
7. Sleeve Length (if sleeves)
8. Dress Length
From shoulder to desired hem (knee, midi, floor).
9. Back Length
From base of neck down to waist.
10. Neckline
Around the base of the neck
